| Forensic Building Science, Inc (FBS), was established in 2004 in response to the high number of homes with water infiltration and structural defects. Our company has investigated over 1500 homes damaged by water intrusion in Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, New York, New Jersey, and Florida. A majority of these homes were still within their statutory warranty period. FBS offers comprehensive testing of wall, floor and roof assembles, window testing, mold testing, theory of damage conclusions and litigation support. Our staff includes, a Minnesota Certified Building Official-limited, Professional Engineer, and project managers and field technicians with a wide variety of construction, inspection and testing experience. We also work in coordination with other testing firms, attorneys and contractors to give you the best possible service.
